Joining the Deloitte SAP Analytics+ team, within Enterprise Technology & Performance (ET&P) will enable you to combine your senior-level client advisory skills with your deep technical expertise - all within a high-impact environment.

We are looking for enthusiastic and driven individuals to help to lead Deloitte's leading SAP Analytics+ team. Working with a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service, designing, and implementing SAP Analytics+ solutions that meet their specific business needs.

You will collaborate with a broad range of international and industry-leading clients who are navigating rapidly evolving digital ecosystems where high-quality data is critical for operational efficiency, customer experience, regulatory compliance, and analytics-driven decision-making. You will bring deep expertise in Enterprise Data management, Reporting, Planning and Consolidation.

The SAP Analytics+ team is organised around three core delivery pillars:

  • SAP Analytics Cloud Planning, including predictive and workforce planning
  • SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting, Group Data Analysis and Fiori reporting
  • SAP Business Planning & Consolidation (BPC) and SAP BCS
  • Financial close, consolidation and statutory / regulatory reporting
  • Disclosure management – SAP Disclosure Management, Workiva
  • AI-assisted forecasting and close, and the SAP Autonomous Finance direction

This represents a unique opportunity to develop your career in consulting within an established Big 4 consulting firm. You will have the chance to develop your technical and functional expertise in the Analytics+ tools, as well as in the delivery and implementation of large-scale technology solutions as you work on a range of projects in cross-functional teams.

In your role we expect excellent knowledge of financial planning, performance management and close, the SAP solutions that enable it and the industries we serve. You will lead client conversations to understand client pain points, translate them into good-practice solutions, and communicate clearly at all levels of a client's finance, business and IT organisations.

Key Responsibilities

As a Manager in Finance Planning, Performance & Close, your role will involve:

  • Leading workstreams and small engagements end to end – scope, design, build, test and go-live.
  • Managing project teams, including guidance, feedback and the development of junior colleagues.
  • Running client discovery, requirements and design workshops, and advising on solution and vendor selection.
  • Designing robust planning, consolidation and close solutions.
  • Assisting and leading the development of client bids and proposals.
  • Building the practice – capability, reusable assets and recruitment.
  • As a Senior Manager, owning delivery quality and commercial performance across an engagement and shaping the go-to-market for Finance Planning, Performance & Close.

To be successful in this role you are required to have:

  • Deep, hands-on expertise across the pillar lifecycle, having led delivery on three or more (four or more at Senior Manager) full implementation lifecycles.
  • Strong, hands-on command of SAP planning and close technologies – SAC Planning, S/4HANA Group Reporting and BPC/BCS – and of the financial close and consolidation process.
  • Experience managing teams and holding client relationships at peer level.
  • Demonstrated support for, or leadership of, client bids and proposals.
  • The ability to translate technical information for a range of audiences, and excellent written and oral communication.
  • Consistent high-quality personal and professional standards.

Additional desirable experience includes:

  • Qualified / part-qualified ACA / CIMA / ACCA.
  • SAP certification in SAC Planning, S/4HANA Group Reporting or BPC.
  • Experience of SAP Disclosure Management or Workiva.
  • S/4HANA finance transformation experience.
