Manager, Finance

Summary

The Manager, Finance serves as a finance business partner responsible for managing financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities within the assigned business unit. This role manages the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Midyear Forecast (MYR), and monthly reporting cycles, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis. The Manager, Finance partners with business and functional leaders to support decision-making through financial analysis and insights. This role identifies opportunities to improve business performance while supporting the development of team members.

Responsibilities

  • Manages FP&A processes including AOP, MYR, and monthly forecasting and reporting cycles.
  • Consolidate and analyze full P&L results, providing clear variance analysis versus plan, forecast, and prior periods.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate timelines, financial planning guidelines, and assumptions.
  • Monitor KPIs and highlight variances, risks, and opportunities.
  • Analyze operational and financial drivers to provide actionable insights.
  • Act as a finance business partner to assigned business stakeholders, providing data-driven insights and recommendations to drive results.
  • Support process improvement initiatives and system enhancements.
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives focused on cost management and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to ensure alignment and consistency in reporting and planning.
  • Support the ongoing development of team and peers in their continued career development.
  • Support ad-hoc analysis and executive-level requests.

Essential Functions Of The Role

  • Communicate effectively via email, phone, and virtual platforms.
  • Collaborate across departments to support organizational goals.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings and initiatives.
  • Maintain and analyze data using tools like Excel, SAP, or HRIS systems.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Lead or support special projects aligned with departmental objectives.
  • Demonstrate initiative in identifying process improvements or automation opportunities.
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Resolve inquiries and issues with professionalism and discretion.
  • Maintain secure handling of sensitive information.
  • Travel frequently, including overnight and occasional weekend travel.

Education & Work Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 12-15 years of related experience

Education & Work Preferences

  • MBA or advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
  • Experience supporting or leading global or shared service teams.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and tools (e.g., SAP, BPC, Power BI or equivalent).
  • Experience working in a global, matrixed organization.

What We Offer

  • The anticipated base salary range for this position is £65,000 - £85,000, depending on experience or other legitimate business factors.
  • This position is also eligible to participate in the Hollister discretionary Corporate Bonus Scheme.
