Location: Battersea, London / Hybrid (3 days per week in office)

The Role

Reporting into the FP&A Senior Manager, EMEA, the Manager, FP&A – EMEA is a high-impact role at the heart of SharkNinja's EMEA finance function. We are hiring managers into this role to cover end-to-end forecast, monthly close, and executive reporting cycle, and leading the EMEA Data/BI & FP&A transformation agenda.

Responsibilities

Forecast, Close & Financial Performance

  • Lead the end-to-end EMEA forecast & budgeting process, coordinating closely with Financial Business Partners (FBPs) and Analysts on all key inputs down to Gross Margin level.
  • Lead and animate the EMEA month-end close cycle, delivering high-quality variance analysis, management commentary, and P&L performance reporting.
  • Own integrity checks and performance analytics across the P&L; proactively identify trends, risks, and focus areas for FBPs and Analysts to act on.
  • Manage P&L submissions and lead corporate reporting activities during month-end and forecast cycles, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and on-time delivery.
  • Establish and maintain clear forums with the Accounting team to review the balance sheet and support quarterly and year-end closing.
  • Support ad hoc financial analysis and business case support for EMEA-wide initiatives.

Data, BI & Process Transformation

  • Drive the animation of financial performance across the EMEA business, using BI tools and automation to bring data to life.
  • Own the maintenance of FP&A master data, including region, customer, category, and product hierarchies – ensuring accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all financial reporting with the support of senior analysts.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between EMEA Finance and the Global BI & IT team, ensuring alignment on tools, reporting priorities, and the rollout of global projects into the EMEA environment.
  • Lead the local execution of FP&A projects – including PowerBI dashboard development, global P&L fundamentals alignment (e.g. gross-to-net, Oracle SKU-level data, legacy BI migration) & global forecast redesign.

Governance & Continuous Improvement

  • Champion simplification across FP&A processes (month end & forecast), leveraging AI tools, analytics, and structured ways of working to reduce manual effort and increase impact.
  • Drive a culture of documentation, simplification, and continuous improvement within the EMEA FP&A team.

Team Development & Line Management

  • Coach and mentor team members, fostering analytical capability, ownership mindset, and professional development across the EMEA FP&A function.
  • Line management of one qualified Senior Analyst.

Attributes & Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in an FP&A role within a global organisation, with strong exposure to month-end close, forecasting, and budget cycles.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a forecast or close process end-to-end – coordinating inputs from multiple stakeholders and owning outputs at the P&L level.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of translating financial data into clear narrative that influences decision-making at a senior level.
  • Expert-level Excel and financial modelling capability.
  • Proficiency in Adaptive Insights (or equivalent EPM tools) and/or hands-on expertise in PowerBI and Snowflake (dashboard development, data modelling, self-service BI) – candidates need not have deep strength in both, but should bring genuine capability and interest in at least one.
  • Experience building or delivering executive-facing outputs; ability to structure and communicate complex financial information concisely.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all financial reporting.
  • Demonstrated ownership mindset: able to drive priorities and manage competing demands independently, with a high degree of organisation and dependability.
  • Experience contributing to or leading finance, data, or process improvement projects.
  • A genuine interest in developing others, with early evidence of coaching or mentoring capability; line management experience preferred but not essential.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) required.
