Franchise Planning Team
The Franchise Planning team at Netflix is responsible for developing the strategy and roadmap for key films and series, including the Dahl franchise, across fan touchpoints in close cross-functional partnership both inside and outside the organization. The goal is to drive long-term impact and value, define business objectives and opportunities, strengthen franchise moments, and deepen love for our series and films.
This position is a 6-month fixed-term contract and will be based in our London office.
Role Overview
We are looking for a passionate and organized Manager based in the UK to join the Dahl franchise team. As a key team member, you will help execute franchise plans in close partnership with the Director and cross-functional stakeholders, translating the franchise roadmap into concrete, well-coordinated execution plans across all consumer touch points.

The successful candidate will be highly familiar with the entertainment space, passionate about world-building, and ideally familiar with Roald Dahl's stories and characters. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and a strong project manager, able to juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities, a clear communicator, and comfortable coordinating across many partners to keep plans on track.
Specific Responsibilities
- Drive execution of the global franchise roadmap and 2-3 year strategic plans in partnership with the Director, translating high-level strategy into clear workstreams, milestones, and timelines
- Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for cross-functional partners globally (e.g., content, title marketing, consumer products, live experiences, publishing, games), to keep franchise deliverables, approvals, and timelines on track and “dot-connecting” to maximize franchise impact
- Help uphold Dahl brand integrity and consistency across all cross-functional touchpoints, proactively flagging and correcting with the relevant teams when necessary
- Create and maintain resources, brand guidelines, and toolkits that deepen cross-functional brand knowledge and enable broader participation in key franchise moments
- Ideate and develop new content extensions, fan engagement moments, and partnership opportunities, surfacing the strongest concepts and business cases to leadership
- Collaborate with Consumer Insights to synthesize audience research and translate it into clear, actionable inputs for franchise strategies and plans
- Monitor market trends and competitive activity, distilling insights and implications for franchise positioning, content, and go-to-market plans
