Join our Group Corporate Development team and help shape LSEG's inorganic growth strategy.

As Manager, Group Corporate Development, you will work on acquisitions, divestitures, strategic partnerships and other corporate development initiatives that support our long-term growth ambitions. Partnering with business leaders and colleagues across Finance, Strategy, Legal, Tax, Technology, HR and the wider organisation, you'll help identify opportunities, evaluate investments and complete transactions that bring value for our customers, shareholders and colleagues.

This role offers significant exposure to senior partners across the Group and the opportunity to lead complex projects from strategy development through transaction execution and integration planning. You'll also contribute to strengthening our M&A capabilities, improving our processes and supporting the development of junior team members. If you're passionate about M&A, enjoy solving complex business challenges and thrive in a collaborative environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the evaluation and execution of acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and strategic partnerships, managing transactions through the full lifecycle from opportunity assessment to integration planning.
  • Support the development of Group and divisional M&A strategies by seeing opportunities, assessing market dynamics and building acquisition pipelines.
  • Conduct strategic, commercial and financial analysis, including valuation modelling, business case development and investment assessments to support decision-making.
  • Partner with colleagues across Strategy, Finance, Legal, Tax, Technology, HR and business divisions to coordinate due diligence, manage transaction risks and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Prepare materials for senior leadership, Executive Committees and Boards, presenting insights and recommendations to support governance and investment decisions.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our corporate development processes, tools and methodologies, while supporting and mentoring junior team members.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
