Department: Legal AI & Technology

Location: Glasgow

Role: Manager, Legal AI & Technology

Contract: Full time, Permanent

Key responsibilities

Stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering

  • Engage with lawyers across practice groups, seniority levels and geographies to understand legal, operational and client service challenges that may be addressed through technology.
  • Work with lawyers to apply legal technology to real legal workflows, helping translate practical legal needs into clear requirements and implementation approaches.
  • Help distinguish between genuine business needs and desirable features, focusing on solving defined problems rather than seeking opportunities to deploy technology for its own sake.
  • Document legal and operational processes clearly, including current-state workflows, pain points, requirements, proposed future-state processes and implementation notes.

Legal technology portfolio and solution alignment

  • Assess whether lawyer requirements can be met through the firm’s existing legal technology portfolio and help match teams to approved tools wherever possible.
  • Assist with the ongoing review and assessment of the firm’s existing legal technology portfolio, helping evaluate usage, effectiveness, gaps, duplication and opportunities to improve how tools are positioned, governed and adopted across the business.
  • Support the application of the firm’s legal technology, AI and IT strategies in day-to-day work, ensuring proposed solutions are aligned with governance, risk and business priorities.
  • Identify unmet legal technology requirements and assist with scoping new opportunities, pilots or projects where existing solutions do not address the business need.

Solution design, configuration and implementation support

  • Build and configure Copilot agents and other practical AI-enabled solutions, including within SharePoint and Microsoft Agent Builder.
  • Act as a voice of the business in bespoke development work, helping ensure that solutions reflect legal practice requirements and user experience considerations.

Adoption, demonstrations and knowledge sharing

  • Demonstrate legal technology applications to lawyers and business teams, explaining functionality, appropriate use cases, benefits and limitations in clear, practical terms.
  • Keep informed about developments and opportunities in legal technology, legal AI and the wider legal innovation market, and share relevant insights, learnings and updates with the team to support continuous improvement and informed decision-making.
  • Assist with the production, maintenance and continuous improvement of internal communications, guidance materials and intranet content relating to the firm’s legal technology portfolio, ensuring information is accurate, accessible, up to date and tailored to the needs of lawyers and business teams.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
