We are seeking to hire experienced Manager into our AI & Data practice, aligned to the Life Sciences industry, with a focus on delivering projects across our Commercial & Marketing AI propositions.
The injection of Agentic AI into the processes and systems through which Life Sciences organisations design, produce, approve, and distribute marketing and medical content has emerged over the past 2 years as one of the most prominent and tangible opportunities across the industry, and as such this has become a priority proposition for us – and an area where we are already leading the industry in terms of our expertise and maturity of solution delivery.
As the global centre of excellence for our ‘AI-Enabled Content’ proposition across Deloitte Life Sciences, the UK AI & Data team are looking for a driven professional with the right mix of technical and functional experience to contribute to the scaling of this high-growth area and support delivery some of our most strategic programmes globally. Our Life Sciences clients are global in nature, and so are our programmes – you will be working with clients and Deloitte teams across the firm, bringing the best skills and expertise together across our business areas and global locations.
While programmes may be AI-driven, you will play a key role in driving relentless focus on business needs and impact, providing the right mix of business insights and technical acumen to help design AI solutions that are fully routed in serving this business need.

Role
As a manager, you will lead and support large-scale AI programmes. In this role you may be expected to:
- Engage directly with senior client stakeholders and internal leadership teams to shape, define, and deliver transformative AI-enabled programmes
- Lead teams / workstreams to design and develop AI-powered solutions that solve the most critical challenges and opportunity areas in Commercial (incl. Content & Marketing)
- Support the growth of our Commercial AI practice through business development (proactive and reactive) and proposition development (Points of View documents and internal accelerator solutions)
- Contribute to management of programme commercials (pricing and financial management) and approval / risk processes
- Stay at the forefront of relevant functional and AI research, actively evaluating emerging technologies and integrating relevant advancements into client solutions and internal frameworks.
- Mentor and guide cross-functional teams, promoting knowledge sharing, reusable assets, and best practices to drive delivery excellence and sustainable growth.

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate skills and experience in some of the following:
Education & Experience
- Undergraduate degree (or equivalent qualification) in Business/Marketing, Data Analytics/Data Science/Artificial Intelligence, or other related / relevant subject(s)
- Domain experience focused on Commercial & Marketing within Life Sciences, which may be based on prior role(s) across one of the following:
- Consulting experience within Commercial / Marketing / Content programmes (ideally in the Life Sciences industry)
- Industry experience in Life Sciences organisation, in a role focused on marketing technology & AI / content operations
- Marketing Agency experience, in a role serving Life Sciences clients and leveraging technology & AI
- Demonstrated experience in managing team and senior stakeholders throughout complex projects
- Interest and experience in driving client relationships and business development
- Experience in solution design, focused on User Experience and business impact
Technical Proficiency
- Understanding of E2E Commercial processes for Life Sciences (Market Access, Marketing, Medical, Sales, Product Launch)
- Awareness and understanding of the key systems / platforms that drive Commercial Operations including CRM, DAM, and MLR platforms.
- Awareness and understanding of the key drivers and solutions to enable technology & AI innovation with the Commercial & Marketing domain in Life Sciences.
- Demonstrated success leading end-to-end development and deployment of production-grade technology & AI solutions that drive business impact.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with proven ability to translate complex AI concepts for diverse audiences.
- Strong financial acumen, with ability to define competitive and realistic commercial models and then manage and report on in-programme financial status
