Manager - Life Sciences Transformation Delivery

About BIP

BIP is an international consultancy specialising in business transformation, technology, and innovation. We work with leading organisations to solve complex challenges and deliver meaningful, sustainable change.

Our Life Sciences team combines deep sector knowledge with expertise across transformation, change, programme delivery, technology, data, and AI to help clients improve how they operate, innovate, and deliver value.

We are looking for an experienced Manager - Life Sciences Transformation Delivery to join BIP and support the delivery of complex transformation programmes across the Life Sciences sector.

The role

As a Manager in our Life Sciences Transformation Delivery team, you will lead the integrated delivery of complex transformation programmes and major workstreams for our clients.

You will turn strategic objectives into executable plans, coordinate business, process, technology, data, and change activity, and actively drive actions, decisions, and outcomes.

This is not a traditional PMO or reporting-focused role. It is a client-facing consulting position for a hands-on delivery leader who can create structure in ambiguity, identify gaps, resolve issues, and maintain momentum across complex programmes.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead the day-to-day delivery of complex Life Sciences transformation programmes or major workstreams, taking accountability for pace, quality, and outcomes.
  • Translate programme objectives into clear integrated plans, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and ownership.
  • Coordinate activity across business, process, technology, data, change, and third-party workstreams to maintain alignment and delivery momentum.
  • Create structure in ambiguous environments, clarifying priorities, decision points, and the critical path to delivery.
  • Establish and maintain proportionate programme governance, reporting, and controls that enable timely decisions and effective delivery.
  • Own integrated plans and actively manage milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, assumptions, and actions.
  • Prepare clear, decision-oriented materials for steering committees and senior governance forums, focusing attention on what requires action.
  • Maintain a reliable view of programme health, using evidence and insight rather than relying solely on status reporting.
  • Identify delivery gaps, emerging risks, and cross-workstream conflicts early, then drive the actions required to resolve them.
  • Challenge slippage, unclear ownership, and incomplete plans constructively, ensuring commitments are explicit and followed through.
  • Facilitate problem-solving and decision-making across teams, escalating with clear options and recommendations when required.
  • Track outcomes and benefits alongside delivery progress to ensure programme activity remains connected to the case for change.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, programme sponsors, and workstream leads.
  • Communicate complex delivery information clearly and tailor the level of detail to executive, programme, and delivery audiences.
  • Facilitate planning sessions, governance forums, and delivery workshops that create alignment, accountability, and momentum.
  • Manage expectations and maintain effective collaboration across client teams, BIP colleagues, and delivery partners.
  • Manage the integrated delivery of technology, data, and AI-enabled transformation within Life Sciences environments.
  • Connect technical delivery with changes to business processes, operating models, roles, capabilities, and ways of working.
  • Work with technology, data, change, and business teams to ensure delivery plans account for readiness, adoption, governance, and operational transition.
  • Lead and quality-assure the work of consultants, providing clear direction, coaching, and constructive feedback.
  • Manage consulting deliverables and commercial parameters, including scope, effort, timelines, and client expectations.
  • Contribute to bids, proposals, pitches, and account planning, bringing practical delivery insight to opportunity shaping.
  • Support the growth of BIP's Life Sciences transformation capability through reusable delivery approaches, insight, case studies, and communities of practice.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
