Manager – Local Government & Social Housing
Independent global consultancy growing its UK Public Sector offering, with a strong focus on transformation across Social Housing.
I am currently partnering with a growing, forward-thinking consultancy that is helping housing and public sector organisations tackle some of their most important transformation challenges across digital, technology, and operations.
They are looking to hire an experienced Manager with strong Social Housing expertise to take the lead on key client engagements, work closely with senior decision-makers, and help shape the continued growth of the firm’s Housing offering.
This is a high-impact leadership opportunity with real ownership and autonomy. It would suit someone who wants to go beyond project delivery and have a genuine hand in building a proposition, growing client relationships, and establishing something meaningful within the Social Housing market.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
