Mission
Databricks is seeking a Manager, Marketing Insights Business Partner to serve as the embedded insights partner to the [VP/GM] of EMEA Marketing and their leadership team. This role exists to create leverage: to make marketing performance easier to understand, easier to act on, and easier to improve.
Reporting to the Director, Marketing Insights, you will bring analytical rigor and a clear point of view to how EMEA plans, forecasts, measures, and improves its work. Beyond reporting on outcomes, you will produce the forecast leadership plans against, hold visibility into how the work itself is running, and help scope and land the pilots that change how we operate. You will partner closely with Marketing Leadership, Campaign Operations, Marketing Platform & Systems, Sales Operations and Finance.
The impact you will have
- Serve as the insights partner to the [VP/GM] of EMEA Marketing and their leadership team, delivering the analysis and narrative required for business reviews, QBRs, and pipeline councils, so that leadership forums produce actionable decisions.
- Maintain a single, trusted view of EMEA marketing performance across a consistent framework of marketing motions, standardizing dashboards and reporting inputs so teams work from a consistent read on what is working, what is not, and where risk is emerging.
- Support functional target-setting model for EMEA, including program, channel, and product-level contribution, and produce the forecast leadership plans that other teams can rely on.
- Maintain the leading-indicator framework for EMEA, identifying the early signals that predict outcome performance, so that intervention happens while the quarter can still change, rather than being diagnosed after it closes.
- Translate performance data into insight, implications, and recommended areas of focus tied to internal milestones and supporting cross-functional requirements within regions.
- Own execution telemetry for EMEA, maintaining visibility into how marketing work is actually running through cycle times, throughput, intake, and SLA performance to reduce operational friction.
- Increase the region's self-sufficiency in accessing and using performance data by driving practical, repeatable adoption of Genie and reducing dependency on central data teams for routine reporting and analysis.
- Support pilot execution, defining the hypothesis, success criteria, and measurement approach before launch, and delivering a clear read at the end.
- Surface and codify what is already working in one market or motion so that proven approaches can be picked up elsewhere, and instrument them so the gain stays visible after the initial push.
- Support the planning cycle with the analytical & programmatic inputs that make investment decisions defensible, including historical performance, efficiency by motion, and target-setting inputs.
- Identify analytical and data risks early, including data quality issues, reporting gaps, and system performance outages, so they are surfaced and addressed before they escalate.
- Act as the region's voice in the global Marketing Insights function, surfacing regional requirements and gaps so that global frameworks and tooling work in-region rather than requiring local workarounds.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
