The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic, high-performing Manager with unparalleled expertise in expatriate tax to join EY’s Financial Services Mobility Tax team. This is your opportunity to shape highly demanding projects, offer direct client value, and instil a culture of growth and excellence.
Key Tasks & Impact
- Advise prominent clients on international mobility taxation, for both inbound (UK-based assignees) and outbound (UK expatriates).
- Lead and deliver diverse engagements from advisory projects to strategic employee tax & mobility matters.
- Collaborate within a cross-functional team to deliver bespoke, comprehensive solutions.
- Build and nurture long-term client relationships, guided by your trusted advisor expertise.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive diverse expatriate tax projects: Cover compliance, advisory, and high-risk assignments.
- Lead & manage - globally: Responsibility for complex, multi-country portfolios.
- Strategic tax & planning advice: Deliver tailored compliance & tax structuring to globally mobile employees.
- Client facing at senior level: Engage at executive level, delivering concise, influential insights.
- Internal collaboration: Work closely with tax, immigration, reward, and law specialists to deliver robust solutions.
- Foster collaboration: Play a key role in an inclusive, dynamic team with a structured support environment.
Requirements & Qualities
- Expertise: Specialised expatriate tax, taxation compliance, and global mobility tax advisory knowledge.
- Leadership: Proven track record of managing complex client portfolios independently.
- Client relations: Evidence of long-term client engagements, trusted advice capabilities.
- Strategic mindset: A measurable balance of technical acumen and commercial intelligence.
- Comfort with growth: Self-driven leadership capability and innovative thinking.
- Communication: Outstanding client & stakeholder influence skills.
Essential Qualifications: • ATT, ACA, CA, ACCA, or CTA (or equivalent law/tax qualification). • Relevant experience: exposure to multinational assignments, cross-border tax implications, or UK expat/inbound projects in Financial Services.
