Job Description

The Role

Providing analytical and statistical methodological insight to studies using secondary sources of real world data. You will work collaboratively with an enthusiastic and friendly team, leading various research projects from conception and study design through to reporting and publication.

Accountabilities

  • Drive methodological expertise within the team:
    • Advising study teams and clients on the suitability of proposed methods to address the research questions and recommending optimal approaches.
    • Critically reviewing and providing feedback on study protocols (e.g. study design and statistical methods) for review by clients and other review committees.
    • Critically reviewing and providing feedback of robust, transparent and coherent Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs), incorporating comprehensive operational definitions and/or code lists, statistical methods, objective-specific analyses and table shells, for implementation by others with limited scope for interpretation.
    • Critically reviewing study findings, and supporting project teams in the interpretation of complex analyses.
    • Translate client evidence needs into tangible analytical approaches and study design options.
    • As a biostatistics technical leader within the team, contribute innovative epidemiological and statistical methods for addressing client evidence needs.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
