🚀 Machine Learning Manager | London (Hybrid) | Up to £130,000 + Benefits

MRJ Recruitment has partnered with a premier London-based consultancy to help them find a Machine Learning Manager to shape and scale their AI capabilities.

In this role, you will bridge high-level client strategy with hands-on technical delivery, leading cross-functional teams of Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and Consultants to build cutting-edge AI solutions for enterprise clients.

What You’ll Do

  • Technical & Team Leadership: Mentor and scale a high-performing team of ML Engineers and Data Scientists, setting technical standards and fostering continuous learning.
  • Client Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to enterprise clients, leading discovery workshops, scoping engagements, and translating complex business problems into actionable ML roadmaps.
  • Delivery & Execution: Oversee the end-to-end ML lifecycle—from exploratory data analysis and model development to production deployment and MLOps.
  • Growth & Strategy: Partner with business development teams to pitch technical solutions, contribute to proposals, and shape the firm's AI offerings.

What We’re Looking For

  • Track Record: Proven experience managing or leading technical teams delivering production-grade ML/AI solutions.
  • Consulting/Agency Background: Experience in management consultancy, technical professional services, or agency environments is strongly preferred.
  • Technical Depth: Hands-on experience with Python, modern ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn), MLOps best practices, and major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Communication: Exceptional skill in translating complex AI capabilities for non-technical C-suite stakeholders and client decision-makers.
