Job Description: Manager of API Sales (Europe Region)

About the Role
Cadila Pharmaceuticals is seeking an experienced and result-oriented API Sales professional to drive business growth across the European market. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical API industry, established relationships with customers across Europe, and a proven track record in business development and key account management.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive API sales and business development across assigned European markets.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities while expanding existing customer relationships.
- Manage key accounts and negotiate commercial agreements with pharmaceutical manufacturers, distributors, and strategic partners.
- Achieve sales targets, revenue growth, and profitability objectives.
- Prepare sales forecasts, business plans, and market intelligence reports.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and regulatory developments.
- Coordinate with internal functions including Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Production, Quality, and Finance to ensure timely execution of customer requirements.
- Represent Cadila Pharmaceuticals at international trade shows, exhibitions, and customer meetings.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective relationship management and timely issue resolution.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Chemistry, Business, or a related discipline.
- 10–18 years of experience in API Sales/Business Development, with significant exposure to the European pharmaceutical market.
- Currently working or having prior experience with a pharmaceutical API manufacturing or sales company.
- Strong network with pharmaceutical companies, distributors, and API customers across Europe.
- Sound understanding of API regulations, market dynamics, and commercial negotiations.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Europe.
