About the Value Creation Team

Interpath’s Value Creation practice is a high-growth, international team delivering impactful, results-driven programmes for listed corporates, private equity funds, large corporates, and government bodies. Our Value Creation service line consists of 6 pillars of expertise, Performance Improvement, Procurement & SCM, Operational Deal Services, Strategy, Technology Data & AI and Turnaround.

We support global clients who need to improve performance, unlock value, and accelerate transformation and we use data-driven insights to diagnose issues, identify opportunities, and deliver sustainable performance improvement. Our client projects have wide-ranging operational delivery & impact on business areas including sales, manufacturing, supply chain management, logistics, and purchasing.

Projects include:

  • Operational Due Diligence
  • Helping clients to assess risk
  • Planning integration or separation
  • Cost reduction
  • Revenue enhancement
  • Day-1 readiness and 100-day planning
  • Delivering value after completion

The Opportunity

Following the appointment of several new Managing Directors, we are expanding rapidly and seeking talented individuals to help drive our ambitious growth plans.

Working as part of a team, you will deliver:

  • Pre- & post-acquisition workstreams for leading Private Equity owned companies & Corporates to ensure deal targets are achieved;
  • Operational due diligence assignments including the identification of key operational risks, value creation opportunities, performance improvement levers & implications for the investment thesis;
  • Carve-out & separation assessments including reviews of standalone operating models, transition arrangements, operational dependencies & day one readiness;
  • Integration & synergy projects such as the identification & quantification of operational synergies, delivery risks & implementation requirements;
  • High-quality client materials including analysis packs, diligence reports, workstream updates & presentations containing clear recommendations & evidence-based insights;
  • Ongoing project support including the identification of project risks, monitoring of workstream status & escalating, when appropriate, to senior team members;
  • Support administration including work planning, data requests, meeting preparation, status reporting & coordination across internal & external teams;
  • Manage, coach & review the work of junior team members, helping them to develop strong analytical, consulting & deal delivery skills;
  • Support business development activity, including proposal development, credentials, sector research, target analysis & preparation of pitch materials.

We are looking for individuals with:

  • Experience in value creation or performance improvement with a leading consulting or advisory firm;
  • Demonstrable experience in operational due diligence combined with exposure to carve-outs, integrations, synergy assessments & value creation / operational improvement projects;
  • Understanding of M&A processes & the key operational issues that arise across pre-deal diligence, separation, integration & post-deal value creation;
  • Strong project management & organisational skills, including the ability to manage multiple workstreams, deadlines, stakeholders & deliverables;
  • Excellent Excel & PowerPoint skills with the ability to produce high-quality, client-ready analysis and presentation materials;
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with clients, management teams, advisers & internal stakeholders.
