This role organizationally sits within Next Generation Software Solutions (NGSS), which partners closely with Industry and Capability Practices to bring Bain's IP to life through the development and growth of tools, technologies, services, and support capabilities. In this role, you will be a part of the Coro team. Coro is Bain's product development and engineering organization for the firm's digital solutions supporting B2B commercial strategy, helping B2B clients accelerate top-line growth through pricing, sales, and go-to-market transformation. Working with a dedicated Technology Lead and a cross-functional team spanning engineering, data, DevOps, and consulting, you will make day-to-day scope and delivery trade-offs, align key decisions with senior stakeholders across Bain, and ensure they are implemented, helping case teams deliver better, faster, and more enduring client results.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
