Manager, Product Management – Payment Resiliency
Issuers face a myriad of authorization risks that come in many forms. Crisis events, such as cyberattacks or natural disasters, complex payment rails and systems, and evolving regulatory demands, like DORA all create disruption to the payment experience. The Mastercard Payment Resiliency team manages a suite of solutions to mitigate these risks. It is critical to ensure a frictionless cardholder experience and uphold the integrity of the Mastercard brand by providing on-behalf authorization decisioning, at any time, for any reason.
As Manager, Product Management - Payments Resiliency, you will help deliver on our strategy of offering industry leading authorization solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to aid in the creation and enhancement of resiliency products, drive utilization through customer education, and ultimately support the improvement of customer performance and profitability.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Function as a Payment Resiliency Solutions SME in Europe
- Work closely with regional sales and account management teams to support the growth of our solutions
- Partner with Advisors Consulting Services to drive product performance improvement and to define use case opportunities
- Collaborate closely with local Customer Success and Service Business Leads by providing SME guidance and recommendations in support of their efforts
- Craft and present clear and compelling business cases to stakeholders to secure buy-in for product utilization
- Transform complex data into compelling insights, shape business narratives, and identify opportunities to create value across a diverse set of stakeholders
- Work with engineering to enhance Resiliency offerings because of direct customer feedback
- Identify issues, risks, and dependencies to track product development
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends and competitive analysis

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. Works to establish priorities and clear milestones and works with urgency to drive the delivery of tangible outcomes.
- A problem-solver mindset with a focus on delivering value to the business and end-users. Experience working directly with partners and customers.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Demonstrated success in both building relationships and working independently.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to structure tasks efficiently while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- A natural self-starter – analyzing complex issues, identifying opportunities, and developing actionable plans.
- Familiarity with authorization decisioning and related concepts

Background & qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- At least 7+ years of experience in business analytics, strategy, product management, consulting, payments, financial services, or a related field.
- Experience with value realization and performance optimization programs is a plus
