Manager, Product Operations

Overview

Prepaid Management Services is Mastercard's in-house program manager, supporting distributors with all aspects of end-to-end card sales and issuance. Traditionally focused on the travel sector, this business unit is driving forward Prepaid throughout the world with innovative and leading solutions that we integrate with Global brands. The expansion into other prepaid sectors such as gift, everyday, corporate, loyalty, and digital offerings offers a diverse platform and product suite for expansion and growth.

The role holder will work as part of the Card Operations team within MPMS, responsible for supporting the forecasting & demand planning, production, replenishment, and distribution of all card, component, and packaging items. The work will include support for the Global and Regional product teams on up-to-date card and collateral items, through maintenance demand planning and customer stock management. Also, supporting the vendor management and SLA and quality oversight to support monthly Service Reviews.

The ideal candidate is passionate about driving excellence throughout the supply chain with a focus on customer experience, highly motivated, intellectually curious with an exceptional attention to detail, analytical, and professional with excellent communication skills.

Role

  • Forecasting and Demand Planning for all Card and Collateral components to support the delivery of the right product, in the right quantity, at the right time.
  • Work with vendors in manufacturing, print, and distributions.
  • SLA adherence management and quality monitoring.
  • Manage the daily operations of the Card Fulfilment functions to include Order management, PO/PR management, Invoice reconciliations, and processing.
  • Identify and support process improvement within the function to ensure operational effectiveness and efficiency for business growth and scalability.
  • Facilitations of distribution and shipping as required.

All About You

  • Experience of managing a supply chain function, including international shipping and vendor management.
  • Demonstrable People leadership experience.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple tasks concurrently while meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to professionally communicate both written and verbal with different functional areas and external partners.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team player.
  • Good organization skills. Able to log and track issues.
  • Skilled at using tools, i.e. MS tools, with some knowledge of AI to support data analysis.
  • Proficient language skills in English (verbal and written). Other languages would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Able to pivot and adapt to changes in schedule to meet business requirements and priorities.
