Why join Marshall Land Systems in this role?

This is an exciting opportunity to join Marshall Land Systems as a Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex engineering and defence projects within a collaborative, multi-functional environment.

This is a hands-on project leadership role where you will take ownership of project delivery, bringing together engineering, production, commercial, procurement, supply chain, finance and programme teams to deliver against cost, schedule, quality and customer requirements.

As Project Manager, you will lead an Integrated Project Team (IPT), working closely with the Programme Manager/Director and functional leads to establish clear responsibilities, priorities and delivery objectives.

You will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring project requirements — technical, commercial, contractual, programme and delivery — are clearly understood, documented and managed.
  • Developing and maintaining project plans, budgets, work breakdown structures and responsibility matrices.
  • Leading project risk and opportunity management, including identifying causes, consequences, cost/schedule impacts and appropriate mitigation actions.
  • Monitoring and managing project performance through appropriate metrics, including Earned Value Management (EVM), Schedule Performance Index (SPI) and Cost Performance Index (CPI) using data and trend analysis to support informed decision-making.
  • Supporting resource planning and providing forward visibility of resource requirements across bids and projects.
  • Supporting project governance and ensuring appropriate lifecycle management processes are followed.
  • Facilitating effective Lessons Learned / Learning from Experience activities to drive continuous improvement.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
