Position Overview

The Manager, Project Delivery provides both operational leadership and hands-on delivery oversight, supervising a team of Project Managers responsible for defining, planning, tracking, and managing projects, while also maintaining their own portfolio of active engagements. The project portfolio spans client onboardings, service deployments, and professional services engagements.

Acting as an experienced escalation point and people manager, the role drives team success through clear expectation setting, effective task and capacity management, and leadership of continuous improvement initiatives. The Manager coordinates internal resources, including Project Delivery Leads, Engineers, Consultants, and Architects, using project management software, checklists, and structured reporting to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong people management skills, underpinned by experience in managed services and technology solutions, and a proven record of delivering successful outcomes for customers. Exceptional communication and organisational skills are essential to navigate escalations, build customer confidence, and bring projects to live operation efficiently.

The role requires the ability to motivate and develop team members, foster a collaborative culture, and communicate effectively with senior management and client sponsors (including COOs, CTOs, and CEOs). The successful candidate will manage change confidently, take active leadership in timely decision-making, and be highly responsive to the needs of both customers and internal stakeholders.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
