Role: Manager, Publisher Success (UK)
About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Publisher Success, International, the Manager, Publisher Success (UK) leads a team of EMEA Publisher Success professionals while directly managing a portfolio of key publisher accounts to drive retention, growth, and long-term value. This role oversees daily team performance, coaching, operational efficiency, and goal accountability while serving as a senior point of contact for strategic partners. Additionally, the Manager collaborates cross-functionally with teams like Publisher Development, GAPS, Revenue, and Product to align publisher needs with GumGum’s broader supply strategy, ensuring the overall performance and evolution of the EMEA Publisher Success organization.

What You'll Achieve
- Lead, coach, and mentor direct reports within the EMEA Publisher Success team to boost performance, foster career growth, and meet key business goals.
- Serve as the senior point of contact for high-value publisher partners, driving strategic oversight, retention, and long-term account growth.
- Monitor partner health, track performance metrics, and optimize inventory allocation to identify upsell opportunities and maximize overall yield.
- Establish streamlined processes, training materials, and Zendesk SLAs to elevate service quality, consistency, and operational efficiency across the team.
- Proactively track network-level trends and lead technical/operational troubleshooting alongside Engineering and Ad Ops to resolve client risks.
- Collaborate closely with Publisher Development, Revenue, Product, and Solutions Engineering to align publisher needs with broader supply strategy.
- Partner with development teams to integrate new supply smoothly and manage the successful transition of publishers into ongoing success management.
- Keep publisher partners informed and compliant on emerging digital ad tech trends, standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., TCF 2.2, ads.txt).
Skills You'll Bring
- Proven capability to lead, coach, and mentor an account management team by setting clear priorities, managing performance, and fostering career growth.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a track record of running effective client-facing and cross-functional meetings.
- Analytical approach to problem-solving, with the ability to break down complex issues and translate data trends into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in media math, Excel, and reporting tools to analyze yield, track publisher health, and identify revenue opportunities.
- A solutions-oriented mindset for troubleshooting technical integration issues directly alongside Product Management and Engineering teams.
- Technical familiarity with workflow platforms including JIRA, Zendesk, and Google Suite, plus experience leveraging AI tools to improve team efficiency.
- Strong organizational and task-prioritization abilities to manage multiple competing initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Deep expertise in digital advertising, ad tech, programmatic landscapes, and emerging industry trends.

Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in publisher-side ad tech, with direct account management and client solution-building expertise.
- 1–2+ years of experience directly managing and developing team members.
- Hands-on experience working with European publishers and familiarity with integration methods (Prebid, JS tags, S2S); CTV experience is a plus.
