A fantastic opportunity has become available at Nationwide for a high-performing, passionate, and ambitious individual to bring specialist risk and control expertise.
In this role, you will enable our Technology Leaders, including our Chief Information Officers (CIOs), to operate and execute effective controls and make informed, risk-based decisions to achieve positive customer outcomes.
You will be passionate about developing data-led approaches to delivering risk and control insights that drive proactive action and prioritization.
- You will have a strong track record of delivery, uphold high standards of performance, and be able to build trust and strong working relationships.
- You will be comfortable working through ambiguity and proactively building your network, enabling you to collaborate effectively across Risk Management teams and with subject matter experts to produce high-quality, informative outputs.
As a high-performing Manager within the CIO & Change Risk Management Team, you will lead the delivery of risk and control services to our Products, Channels, Core Banking & Payments CIO. The team is responsible for providing subject matter expertise, objective advice, and actionable insights to support CIOs in understanding, evaluating, and improving the risk and control environment as it relates to the management of their technology and change portfolios.

Hybrid Working

For this job you'll spend at least two days per week, or if part time you'll spend 40% of your working time, based at either our Swindon, London, or Glasgow office. If you’re based at our Glasgow office, this will apply from 1 April 2027 and ahead of that there will be a need to regularly connect with colleagues for collaboration events.
