Brainlabs is the independent, founder-led agency building the future of media.
We have over 1000 Brainlabbers based across the global, all united through the 12 principles laid out in our Culture Code. We're full-service, with people and AI agents working side by side, all aligned to one thing: maximizing our clients' revenue through a genuinely scientific approach to media. If you want to help play your part in achieving this for the world's biggest brands in an environment that will support and challenge you in equal measure, this is where you do it.
What's the role
As an SEO Manager at Brainlabs, you'll deliver excellent work for clients and make a genuine impact on both the accounts you work on and the people around you. You'll help define how campaigns are set up and measured, spot opportunities to get more out of the work, and bring new ideas to clients using our test-and-learn approach. That includes keeping pace with how search is changing, particularly as AI-powered features and generative engines become a bigger part of the picture, and feeding that knowledge back into guidelines, playbooks and processes.
What you do
- Using your SEO knowledge, you'll be responsible for delivering campaigns that outperform KPIs, on time and to budget.
- You'll start to define campaign delivery plans and set meaningful measurement targets.
- You'll track and optimise campaigns, spotting what's working and acting on what isn't.
- You'll be a day-to-day point of contact for clients, handling tasks and deliverables with confidence.
- You'll develop, implement and follow guidelines and processes, and contribute ideas around automation and process improvement.
- You'll contribute to the SEO practice roadmap, including how we approach AI Search, from optimising for AI Overviews to understanding how generative engines like Perplexity and ChatGPT Search affect organic visibility.
- You'll mentor less experienced colleagues, helping grow capability and knowledge across the practice.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
