Scope

The Manager/Sr. Manager, Marketing Events leads the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of PSA BDP’s global events program, including industry trade shows, customer summits, roundtables, webinars, and other hosted experiences.

Reporting to the Director, Brand Experience, this role leads the Events team and partners with Marketing, Sales, Product, Regional Leadership, Procurement, Creative Services, and external vendors. The position is responsible for delivering high-quality events that strengthen customer relationships, generate business opportunities, and elevate the PSA BDP brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the annual global trade show and customer event plan.
  • Manage event budgets, forecasting, schedules, vendors, contracts, sponsorships, and exhibitor opportunities.
  • Oversee all event logistics, including venues, registration, food and beverage, audiovisual production, shipping, booth installation, and lead on-site operations.
  • Partner with Creative Services to develop booth graphics, collateral, digital assets, giveaways, and attendee engagement experiences.
  • Coordinate event staffing, speakers, agendas, attendee communications, and internal stakeholder updates.
  • Manage event technology, lead capture processes, webinar platforms, and CRM integration.
  • Measure event performance, attendee engagement, lead generation, ROI, and business impact.
  • Deliver post-event reports and recommendations to improve future events.
  • Establish and continuously improve event planning process, timelines, tools and best practices.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Events team while managing priorities across multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary operational contact for internal stakeholders, agencies, production partners, venues, and suppliers.
  • Support integrated event marketing campaigns in partnership with Commercial and Digital Marketing.
  • Develop contingency plans and manage operational, financial, and reputational risks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Hospitality, Event Management, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of progressive event management experience, preferably within a global B2B organization.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex trade shows, conferences, customer events, and event portfolios.
  • Previous team leadership or mentoring experience.
  • Strong expertise in budgeting, vendor management, contract negotiation, logistics, production, and event operations.
  • Excellent project management, communication, negotiation, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience measuring event ROI and partnering with Sales, Marketing, and executive leadership.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, webinar technology, Microsoft Office, Teams, and event management platforms.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Approximately 25% domestic and international travel is required.
