Our client is a global advisory firm, that provides strategic intelligence around commercial and regulatory risk. They are seeking a manager to join their MENA team based in London. The manager will work on strategic intelligence and due diligence projects for the MENA region.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities for Manager, Strategic Intelligence MENA role include:

  • Manage commercial due diligence and strategic intelligence projects across the Middle East and North African region, in particular the Gulf, Iran, Egypt and North Africa.
  • Conduct public domain research using human source intelligence.
  • Synthesise intelligence and prepare high quality long-form reports.
  • Manage and mentor junior staff.
  • Check the work of junior colleagues.
  • Brief clients and internal stakeholders on existing project work.
  • Assist with drafting client proposals and assist the business development team.

  • At least 3 years’ previous experience in the business intelligence industry.
  • Experience in researching complex matters with knowledge of relevant databases and other relevant sources of information in the public domain.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple concurrent complex projects.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Expertise in at least one of the MENA countries (Gulf/North Africa countries are an advantage).
  • An understanding of commercial and regulatory risks faced by investors in the region would be desirable.
  • Fluency in Arabic is desirable.
