Strategic Partner Manager, EMEA – Global Technology Platform

Location: London (Hybrid)
Salary: £90,000
Contract: 12-Month FTC

About the Role

A leading global technology company is committed to cultivating the world's gaming community. Hundreds of millions of individuals engage with games, view gaming content, or participate in gaming groups on our platform each month. Our partnerships team is at the forefront of pioneering the next generation of immersive social experiences on mobile.

We are seeking a Strategic Partner Manager (SPM) to develop, manage, and sustain relationships with key developer partners and content creators across the gaming ecosystem. As an integral member of our EMEA team, you will support a spectrum of strategic partners across major mobile platforms, with a primary focus on the EMEA region and supplementary coverage for global developers.

To empower partners to successfully discover, adopt, and flourish on our gaming platforms. You will assist gaming partners in optimizing their presence and maximizing the value derived from our ecosystem. This role necessitates a combination of strategic relationship management and proactive partner engagement, requiring direct collaboration with developers while acting as a champion for their needs internally.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Partnerships: Think creatively with prominent companies in the gaming industry to build durable, long-term, and scaled partnerships by understanding their strategy and goals.
  • Partner Management: Manage and consult existing partners on building up their success and revenue growth on our platform.
  • Thought Leadership: Represent our gaming initiatives and provide perspectives in external meetings with partner executives.
  • Product Integration: Drive the adoption and integration of new features from our gaming platforms.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work seamlessly with internal teams, including product, engineering, design, marketing, and finance.
  • Data Analysis: Track, analyze, and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends as they relate to partner relationships at scale.
  • Business Development: Use analysis and gaming industry expertise to source and develop new partner opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in business development or account management.
  • Education: BS/BA in a highly quantitative field, such as Economics, Business Commerce, or equivalent experience.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of gaming, how the gaming industry operates, and the broader internet industry.
  • Technical Acumen: Strong technical background with the ability to understand complex product features and mechanics.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills with fluency in English. Experience working effectively with all levels of management, both internally and externally.
  • Adaptability: Proven ability to define, initiate, and drive business opportunities in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and rapidly changing environment.
  • Tools: Advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Domain Expertise: Deep domain knowledge of the gaming industry with a proven ability to identify and leverage emerging trends.
  • Operational Excellence: Ability to balance day-to-day operational work with the structuring, negotiation, and maintenance of significant, complex strategic relationships.
  • Emerging Tech: Experience with or understanding of modern AI skills and tools.
