Manager - Strategy & Transactions (Industrial Products, Technology & Services)

A leading accountancy and advisory firm is looking to hire a Manager into its growing Industrial Products, Technology & Services team, based in London. This is a key hire within an expanding practice. The role offers exposure to high-impact strategy and commercial due diligence engagements across a broad range of industrial sectors, working with corporate and private equity clients across the United Kingdom and internationally.

The Role

You will lead and deliver a range of strategy and commercial due diligence projects across the Industrial Products, Technology & Services sector.

  • Working closely with senior leadership, you will be responsible for driving project delivery, managing workstreams and ensuring high-quality outcomes for clients.
  • You will oversee a team of consultants and analysts, balancing detailed analytical work with client interaction and stakeholder management.

The role offers significant responsibility from the outset, with exposure to a broad mix of strategic and transaction-related assignments spanning sectors such as renewable energy, health and safety, built environment and automotive. Alongside client delivery, you will contribute to thought leadership, practice development and the continued growth of the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the delivery of complex strategy and commercial due diligence projects.
  • Manage project teams, ensuring quality, structure and timely delivery.
  • Provide robust, data-driven analysis to support commercial decision making.
  • Contribute to the development of proposals, methodologies and thought leadership.

Candidate Profile

  • Several years' experience in strategy or management consulting, with a demonstrable track record of delivering commercial due diligence and growth strategy projects.
  • Experience across energy, industrials or manufacturing sectors is essential, with a particular focus on deals and growth strategy work.
  • Proven ability to manage teams and deliver high-quality outputs under pressure.
  • You are intellectually curious, commercially minded and comfortable taking ownership.
