The Impact You Will Make

As the operational leader for your assigned University partner(s), you will own the success of the student recruitment function, ensuring recruitment targets are achieved, operational excellence is maintained, and prospective students are supported through every stage of their recruitment journey. Working in close partnership with the Enrolment and Marketing team, you'll help ensure a seamless transition from inquiry to recruitment to enrolment, delivering the best possible experience for students and strong outcomes for your university partner(s).

Leading a dedicated Student Engagement team aligned to your partner portfolio, you'll be accountable for delivering commercial performance, driving continuous improvement, building a high performing team and creating an environment where your team can thrive, take ownership and perform at their best. Within your team, you will own the proactive use of technology and tools to enhance the student experience for your university partner(s).

You'll build trusted relationships with university stakeholders and work with a high degree of autonomy, making informed decisions, navigating ambiguity and collaborating across Risepoint to remove barriers, optimise performance and deliver long-term success for both students and your university partner(s).

How You Will Bring Our Mission to Life

What You Will Do

  • Own the operational success and commercial performance of your assigned University partner(s), delivering against student recruitment, enrolment and revenue targets.
  • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing Student Engagement team, creating a culture of accountability, autonomy and continuous improvement.
  • Drive operational excellence by identifying opportunities to improve processes, remove inefficiencies and optimise the student journey from enquiry through enrolment.
  • Act as the strategic operational lead and trusted advisor for partner universities, building strong relationships and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Analyse performance data to identify trends, risks and opportunities, translating insights into actions that improve conversion and business performance.
  • Collaborate across Marketing, Admissions, Academic Services, Student Support and other internal teams to deliver seamless operational outcomes.
  • Influence stakeholders across the business to resolve challenges, improve processes and deliver the best experience for students and university partners.
  • Support your team through coaching, performance management, regular feedback and development conversations, empowering individuals to make decisions and own outcomes.
  • Balance competing priorities while remaining adaptable in a fast-paced, evolving environment where information may not always be complete.
  • Lead by example, fostering a commercially minded, solutions-focused culture that puts students and partners at the centre of every decision.

  • University partner recruitment, enrolment and revenue targets are consistently achieved or exceeded.
  • Operational processes are efficient, scalable and continuously improving.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

Experience That Matters Most

  • Experience leading high-performing customer engagement, admissions, recruitment or sales teams.
  • Must reside in the United Kingdom.
  • Demonstrated success owning operational performance against commercial or revenue targets.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance business outcomes with an exceptional customer experience.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders and building trusted relationships both internally and externally.
  • Strong coaching and people leadership skills with a track record of developing autonomous, high-performing teams.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed business decisions.
  • Experience driving operational improvements through process optimisation, continuous improvement, and technology driven initiatives.
  • Highly organised with excellent planning and prioritisation skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity, making decisions with incomplete information and adapting quickly to changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and problem-solving skills.

Experience That’s Great to Have

  • Experience working within Higher Education, EdTech or student recruitment.
  • Experience managing university or strategic client partnerships.
  • Knowledge of postgraduate recruitment and admissions processes.
  • Experience working across international markets.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, recruitment technology and performance reporting tools.
  • Experience supporting organisational change or business transformation initiatives.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent professional experience.
