Boliden: Manager Supply Chain

Boliden is a high-tech metals company with its own mines and smelters that works long-term to guarantee society's access to base and precious metals. For a century, our work has been part of the value chains that have shaped modern society. At Boliden, we know that the metals we mine and make available will continue to play a crucial role in the future – what matters is how we produce them. Become a part of us and drive change for generations to come.

Do you want to play a key role in connecting strategy, operations, and commercial priorities across a complex industrial value chain? As Manager Supply Chain, you will ensure that integrated planning supports both business performance and customer commitments across the entire supply chain. The role exists to strengthen end-to-end supply chain planning, improve decision-making, reduce our environmental footprint and build resilience in a dynamic market shaped by changing demand raw material availability. By bringing together people, processes, data, and planning systems, you will enable fact-based decisions that balance commercial objectives, operational capabilities, and long-term profitability while supporting sustainable growth and continuous improvement.

Your opportunity

As Manager Supply Chain, you own and govern the integrated planning framework that connects global raw materials sourcing, production, sales, and logistics across the business. You ensure alignment between commercial objectives and operational constraints by establishing clear planning principles, decision governance, and reliable data. The role is part of the Commercial Management Team and reports to the General Manager. Acting as a functional leader across a matrix organization, you bring together stakeholders from multiple functions, sites, and business areas to create shared priorities, strengthen planning capabilities, and support business performance through informed decision-making.

Who you will work with

You will join a collaborative and international environment where planning, commercial, operational, and financial expertise come together to support the business. The role works closely with colleagues across mines, smelters, purchasing, sales, finance, logistics, and planning teams. Success is built through partnership, knowledge sharing, and mutual support. We value diverse perspectives and believe the best solutions emerge when people work together across functions and locations while continuously developing new capabilities and ways of working.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
