The Deloitte CFO Survey has been mapping sentiment and balance sheet strategies among the Chief Financial Officers (CFOs) of the UK’s leading businesses for almost two decades. It is widely reported in the media and closely followed by policymakers, in the business community and by economists. For Deloitte, the survey is its flagship research publication, a valued asset that strengthens client relationships, delivers insights for policymakers, corporates and Deloitte and strengthens the firm’s standing in the market.

The Role of Survey Co-ordinator

The role of Survey Co-ordinator will build on these successes to expand CFO participation in, and the influence of, the CFO Survey. Working in the Economics & Markets Team, the Survey Co-ordinator will be responsible for expanding the panel of CFO participants, raising quarterly participation rates, and enhancing the profile of the survey within Deloitte and externally with CFOs, the press, and policymakers. This role requires an energetic, versatile individual capable of taking responsibility, driving engagement and managing a key Deloitte initiative.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
