Acre is proudly working with ArcelorMittal in their search for a Manager, Sustainability Reporting Workstreams.

ArcelorMittal is now seeking a Manager, Sustainability Reporting Workstreams to play a key role in this programme. Reporting to the Sustainability Reporting Programme Manager, the successful candidate will independently manage major reporting workstreams, coordinating global contributors and ensuring high-quality, timely and assured sustainability disclosures.

The Role

The role will be responsible for managing defined workstreams across ArcelorMittal's sustainability reporting programme, from coordinating inputs and drafting disclosures through to assurance, review and final sign-off.

  • Independently managing major sustainability reporting workstreams, coordinating contributors across multiple geographies and functions.
  • Developing and managing reporting plans, timelines, dependencies and deliverables within a complex matrix organisation.
  • Coordinating the preparation of high-quality sustainability disclosures for annual and other corporate reporting.
  • Working closely with internal subject matter experts and data owners to gather, challenge and validate information.
  • Supporting external assurance processes, including coordinating evidence, responding to queries and managing follow-up actions.
  • Managing sustainability ratings and submissions, ensuring accurate and consistent responses across relevant platforms.
  • Supporting the organisation's ongoing CSRD and ESRS reporting requirements and broader sustainability disclosure developments.
  • Drafting and reviewing clear, accurate and engaging reporting content for senior stakeholder review.
  • Identifying reporting gaps, managing risks and dependencies, and driving workstreams through to completion.

About You

The ideal candidate will bring relevant experience in sustainability reporting, corporate reporting or a closely related discipline.

You are likely to have:

  • Strong experience managing reporting projects or workstreams within a large, complex organisation.
  • A track record of delivering annual, sustainability, ESG or integrated reporting.
  • Excellent programme and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple contributors without direct authority.
  • Strong drafting and editing skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Experience working with external assurance providers and/or sustainability ratings submissions.
  • Knowledge of CSRD and ESRS, ideally with practical experience applying these frameworks.
  • Alternatively, a strong corporate reporting background combined with meaningful sustainability/ESG exposure will be considered.
  • Experience within heavy industry, energy, mining, manufacturing or another complex industrial environment would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of a relevant sustainability topic such as water, climate, biodiversity or natural resources would be valuable.
  • A second language, particularly French, Spanish or Portuguese, would be advantageous.

This role would suit someone who combines the rigour and delivery focus of a strong corporate reporting professional with a genuine understanding of sustainability and ESG disclosure. The ability to bring structure to complex programmes, influence stakeholders and take ownership of deliverables will be critical.

This role is based in London, with 4 days per week in the office.
