Working closely with Firm leadership, partners, regional Finance teams and external advisers, you will provide trusted technical advice, manage tax projects and help translate complex requirements into clear, practical action.

This role sits at the heart of our global tax strategy during a period of continued tax and regulatory change. Your impact will help strengthen our approach to partnership tax compliance across EMEA, support the Firm’s operations and contribute to our collective success as one global team.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of tax compliance in the EMEA region, including coordinating the preparation, review and timely submission of partnership and corporate tax returns, tax computations, partner reporting and other required tax filings across relevant jurisdictions.
  • Maintain a robust compliance calendar for EMEA tax obligations, ensuring deadlines, reporting requirements and governance procedures are identified, monitored and met.
  • Support the preparation, maintenance and review of transfer pricing documentation relevant to the Firm’s EMEA operations. Monitor transfer pricing developments and coordinate with internal stakeholders and external advisers on appropriate policies, methodologies and documentation.

  • Provide technical guidance on UK and international partnership tax matters, including the application of tax rules to partner remuneration, profit allocations, cross-border activities and other complex partnership matters.
  • Monitor and interpret changes in UK, EU and other relevant EMEA tax legislation, tax authority guidance and reporting requirements. Assess the impact of changes on the Firm.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with partners, Firm leadership, Finance teams, legal and business services colleagues and external tax advisers. Provide clear, commercially focused updates and advice on tax compliance risks and developments.
  • Identify, assess and mitigate tax risks. Recommend and implement appropriate controls, processes and escalation procedures to support accurate and compliant tax reporting.
  • Mentor, train and develop junior Tax Team members. Provide timely feedback, share technical knowledge and promote consistent, high-quality delivery across the team.
  • Foster a culture of simplification, continuous learning and improvement, including the use of technology and process improvements to enhance the efficiency, accuracy and resilience of tax compliance processes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
