Manager of TechOps for EMEA
As Manager of TechOps for EMEA, you will lead the regional operations hub that keeps TrueCommerce’s EMEA business secure, connected, and performing at scale.
In this leadership role, you will own the infrastructure, network, database operations, site reliability, and escalated application support that enable our teams and customers to rely on resilient, high-performing technology every day.
You will translate TrueCommerce’s global infrastructure roadmap into meaningful regional execution, building a culture of accountability, ownership, and operational excellence across EMEA. As the voice of the region into the global infrastructure organization, you will influence priorities, surface business needs, and help shape how our global operating model delivers for customers and teams across markets.
This is an opportunity to lead through both scale and transformation by strengthening regional delivery, developing a capable infrastructure team, and helping define how global standards come to life in a complex, growing environment.
In this role, you will lead an EMEA infrastructure and tech operations team of 5.
What You'll Do:
Regional Hub Leadership
- Lead the EMEA Regional Operations Hub as the regional pillar of the global hub-and-spoke infrastructure model.
- Execute the global infrastructure roadmap and enterprise standards within EMEA, adapting for regional requirements including data residency and GDPR considerations.
- Serve as the senior regional escalation point for infrastructure matters and represent EMEA priorities to global infrastructure leadership.
- Partner with regional business leaders to align IT infrastructure services with local business needs.

- Oversee infrastructure operations, network operations, and database operations across EMEA to maintain high availability, performance, and reliability.
- Lead Level 2 application support and site reliability practices for the region.
- Own delivery of regional business services: incident management, problem management, change execution, service requests, monitoring & alerting, access & identity, capacity management, backup & recovery, and local support.
- Drive automation and operational efficiency across monitoring, patching, and provisioning processes.
- Leverage AI and automation to scale operational capacity, improve personal and team efficiency, reduce manual effort, and accelerate consistent, high-quality service delivery.
- Manage regional vendor relationships and service-level agreements.
- Report regional infrastructure performance and risks to global infrastructure leadership on a regular basis.
Budget & Financial Stewardship
- Manage the EMEA infrastructure budget and ongoing spend within the global infrastructure financial framework.
- Partner with finance and procurement to optimize regional vendor spend and improve cost transparency.
Team Leadership & Talent Development
- Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing EMEA infrastructure and operations team.
- Establish a culture of accountability, ownership, and measurable delivery through clear performance metrics.
- Lead hiring and performance management for the regional organization.
Who You Are:
- 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems engineering, or technology operations, including 3+ years leading teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience managing regional or multi-site infrastructure operations across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.
- Hands-on experience in networking, cloud platforms (Azure preferred), virtualization, and storage.
- Strong grounding in ITIL-aligned service management (incident, problem, and change management).
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring, automation, and orchestration tools.
- Demonstrated ability to apply AI-enabled tools and automation to improve operational scale, team productivity, process efficiency, and service reliability.
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity, backup & disaster recovery, and compliance frameworks including GDPR.
- Prior budget management experience.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work across regional and global teams.
- Experience operating within a global hub-and-spoke or follow-the-sun support model preferred.
