Manager, Ticketing Operations

We are looking for a Manager, Ticketing Operations to join the team at Liverpool FC.

You will manage the ticketing sales approach for Men's domestic and European cup fixtures, alongside shared responsibility for Women's matches across all competitions, delivering a seamless and best-in-class supporter experience. Acting as a key contact for internal and external stakeholders, you will collaborate with Ticketing Operations, Ticketing Systems and wider business teams to execute the Club's ticketing strategy, drive operational excellence and achieve departmental objectives.

What will you be doing?

  • Manage the end-to-end ticket sales and delivery process for Men's domestic and European cup fixtures, Women's fixtures, and Cup Finals across all competitions.
  • Manage ticket inventory, allocations, priority sales windows, season ticket renewals, and digital ticketing operations to maximise utilisation and supporter experience.
  • Act as a key ticketing lead for major events, including non-football events and finals, providing operational expertise across Anfield and third-party venues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, external clubs, venues and partners to ensure ticketing activities, communications and fulfilment processes are delivered effectively.
  • Oversee ticketing content and supporter journeys across club channels, ensuring accurate, accessible and seamless customer experiences.
  • Support matchday operations, reporting, financial reconciliations and the resolution of escalated ticketing issues, while contributing to wider club projects and initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and delegation to Ticketing Coordinators, ensuring all ticketing requirements are delivered to a high standard and within key deadlines.

Who are we looking for?

Essential Knowledge

  • Demonstrable strong experience in a high-volume ticketing environment in the sports or entertainment industry
  • Excellent industry knowledge, particularly about ticketing and football
  • Excellent stakeholder management and ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience with implementing and delivering policy and process change
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to effectively delegate to ensure all team members know what is expected of them and tasks are fulfilled optimally

Essential Functional / Technical Skills

  • Experience using Seat Geek or another relevant ticketing platform
  • Experience using Fortress or another relevant access control system
  • Experience with managing digital ticketing processes
  • Advanced Microsoft application user and proficient with Excel and large quantities of data
