We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager, Transaction Risk Management.
About the Role
Global Trade Solutions (GTS) comprises over 4,500 people across more than 60 countries, helping suppliers and buyers with their export and import finance needs. Trade is where HSBC began in 1865, when we financed commerce between Europe, North America and Asia.
The successful candidate will join an existing team who are responsible for supporting structures across the entire GTS product range. It is a unique opportunity for an individual to rapidly grow their GTS experience and understanding.

Responsibilities
In this role you will:
- Work alongside GTS Business Development Managers and Network RDs to support their activity to grow our revenue in a sustainable way
- Work closely with GTS Client Managers, Trade Managers and Working Capital Specialists to review existing structures seeking to maximise revenue opportunities whilst balancing the risks and any potential LIC’s these may cause, in any funding structure GTS may be providing to a customer
- Support GTS’s compliance management culture, adhering to and helping to develop processes in place for the management of credit, operational, reputation, financial crime and regulatory risk
- Build a network of external professionals to support risk management activities

Requirements
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- An understanding of receivables structures and/or Trade structures
- An ability to effectively communicate and influence at all levels
- Have a developed understanding of HSBC’s Treating Customers Fairly and Financial Crime principals
- Be able to understand and interpret financial information
- Have a desire to grow as an individual with a willingness to learn and develop the direction of the new, working capital specialist role
