An independent London firm is adding a Manager to its Transaction Services team. They're open to either an Assistant Manager ready for promotion or an existing Manager looking to gain more responsibility and exposure.

The team is well established but at a pivotal point of growth, so you'd be joining something with real momentum behind it. There's room to shape how it develops rather than slotting into a machine that's already fixed.

The Role

  • Manage buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements for private equity and corporate clients across the mid-market
  • Attend and support pitches alongside the senior team
  • Develop private equity and adviser network to support professional growth and contribute to origination efforts
  • Manage and mentor junior team, reviewing workstreams and developing junior talent

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

On culture, this is a long way from the typical transaction working environment with long hours and inflexibility. The partner group is young and the firm is independent and intends to stay that way, so decisions are made for the long term rather than to hit a quarterly number for an investor. Retention is unusually good, with a number of partners having been there since they qualified. The is generalist but has strengths in particular sectors, so you'd have the opportunity build genuine depth in a defined area rather than taking whatever lands.
