Group Transaction Centre Manager
Contract
Gloucester
I'm currently supporting a growing engineering and manufacturing group who are looking for an experienced Group Transaction Centre Manager to join on a contract basis.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Transactional Finance / Shared Services / Finance Operations Manager to take ownership of a key finance function during a period of transformation.
The role:
- You'll be responsible for leading and improving the transactional finance function across the group, covering:
- AP, AR and General Ledger
- Leading and developing the transactional finance team
- Introducing and managing KPIs
- Improving processes, controls and efficiency
- Identifying and implementing automation opportunities
- Supporting ERP and finance system improvements
- Managing intercompany transactions, reconciliations and control accounts

We're looking for someone with:
- Strong experience managing a transactional finance / shared services function
- Experience across AP, AR and GL
- Proven people management experience
- A track record of process improvement and driving efficiencies
- Experience working with ERP/finance systems
- Strong understanding of financial controls and reconciliations
- The ability to come into a changing environment and make an immediate impact
