We're looking for a Manager, Video Editing to lead video post-production across PMI's digital platforms, including pmi.com, pmiscience.com, and global social channels.
The Role
As part of our in-house Global Communications production team, you will manage a Senior Video Editing Specialist and lead the creation of high-quality video content supporting global campaigns, executive communications, and major events.
You'll combine expert editing and motion graphics capabilities with strong knowledge of Generative AI to drive creativity, innovation, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead video editing and post-production from concept through to final delivery.
- Create compelling visual content using editing, motion graphics, animation, colour grading, sound design, and visual effects.
- Drive the adoption of Generative AI and establish best practices across the team.
- Partner with stakeholders, creatives, freelancers, and project managers to deliver impactful content.
- Manage multiple projects while ensuring quality, compliance, and on-time delivery.
- Support video productions in the UK and internationally.
- Oversee the management, storage, and distribution of video assets.
- Continuously improve workflows and stay current with industry trends and technologies.

What We're Looking For
- Degree in Film, Video Production, Media, or equivalent professional experience.
- Significant experience in professional video editing, including the use of Generative AI within post-production.
- Proven track record delivering high-quality content across digital platforms.
- Advanced skills in motion graphics, animation, compositing, colour grading, and visual effects.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong understanding of sound editing, media management, codecs, and delivery formats.
- Experience leading and developing others in a creative environment.
- Strong project management, stakeholder management, and organisational skills.
