Managing Associate - Housebuilding / Residential Development

Birmingham, Manchester or Leeds | National Law Firm | Permanent

An exciting opportunity for a Managing Associate / Senior Associate to join the growing Housebuilding practice of a highly regarded national law firm.

The firm is making significant investment into the continued growth of its Housebuilding offering, creating an opportunity for an experienced lawyer to join at an exciting stage of development. This is more than a straightforward replacement role; you'll have the autonomy, client exposure and influence to play a meaningful role in shaping the practice.

The Role

You'll work alongside experienced Partners, advising national housebuilders, regional developers and SME residential developers on a broad range of residential development matters, including:

  • Site acquisitions, assembly and disposals
  • Due diligence and legal reporting

You'll also have the opportunity to develop client relationships, contribute to business development and supervise and develop junior lawyers, working collaboratively with the wider Built Environment team.

About You

We're looking for a Managing Associate, Senior Associate or experienced Residential Development Solicitor with a strong background acting for housebuilders and developers.

You'll be technically strong, commercially minded and comfortable working autonomously, with the ambition to help build and grow a practice rather than simply manage an existing caseload.
