About the Firm
A well-established and highly regarded law firm is seeking an ambitious Residential Property Solicitor to join its growing team. The firm has an excellent reputation across the London property market and is investing heavily in the continued growth of its residential property offering, particularly within the new build sector. With significant work streams already in place and further expansion planned, this is an exciting opportunity to join a team at a pivotal stage of growth.
The Opportunity
The team is looking to appoint a Managing Associate-level lawyer with strong expertise in residential property and a particular focus on new build transactions. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting and expanding the firm's new build capability, managing high-quality work while helping to strengthen relationships with developers, introducers, and other key stakeholders across the property sector.

Candidates with an established and dependable portable following will be viewed particularly favourably. Equally important is a proven ability to generate work, build relationships, and contribute to the ongoing growth of the practice.
The firm is also open to considering:
- More junior candidates with strong new build experience.
- Individuals capable of introducing a portable practice generating £300,000+ in annual fees.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a broad residential property caseload, with a strong emphasis on new build transactions.
- Advising developers, investors, lenders, and private clients.
- Handling the acquisition and disposal of freehold and leasehold properties.
- Acting on off-plan purchases and new build development matters.
- Reviewing development documentation and associated title matters.
- Supporting developer clients through plot sales programmes.
- Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers where appropriate.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with introducers, developers, agents, and industry contacts.
- Identifying opportunities to expand existing client relationships.
- Supporting the wider strategic growth objectives of the residential property practice.
- Participating in networking, marketing, and business development initiatives.
