We are seeking an experienced Managing Consultant to lead high-impact transformation and optimisation projects for top-tier private equity firms.

This is a senior role for a confident consulting leader who can independently oversee multiple engagements, build strong client relationships, and develop a high-performing consulting team around them.

You MUST work in a consultancy firm within private equity.

Salary: £95,000 - £120,000 DOE

The Role

As a Managing Consultant, you will take full ownership of delivering complex projects, programmes, or portfolios—ensuring work is completed on time, on budget, and to an exceptional standard. You will chair client meetings, lead Steering Committees, act as the key escalation point, and guide consultants and analysts supporting your engagements.

You will play a significant role in developing our consulting capability: shaping team structure, supporting succession planning, mentoring junior consultants, and modelling best-in-class delivery and communication.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
