Role: Managing Consultant – Findur Functional

Location: UK/ Switzerland

Work Model: Remote Working with Travel Required

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced OpenLink Findur Functional Consultant to lead the design, configuration, and optimization of trading, risk, and operations workflows. You’ll serve as the functional SME, partnering with business and technical teams to deliver best-practice Findur solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary functional SME for OpenLink Findur across trading, risk management, settlements, and accounting modules
  • Lead or contribute to full lifecycle projects — including scoping, design, build, test, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Drive major Findur enhancements such as new product onboarding, system upgrades, or business process automation.
  • Collaborate with technical teams on customizations, interfaces, and integrations with upstream/downstream systems.
  • Exhibiting strong analytical and problem-solving skills, to deliver high quality solutions to clients
  • Working closely with Front/Middle/Back Office, Operations and Finance business users and be responsible for gathering, documenting, and delivering requirements and use cases through to user acceptance and implementation.

Required Experience:

  • Should have a deep understanding of the energy/commodity and financial markets trading and risk management businesses
  • Minimum 10 years + experience of Openlink Findur, including v14 upwards is essential
  • Expertise in front-to-back office modules, including trade capture, risk, curves, settlements, confirmations, and reporting.
  • Experience configuring Findur Managers, workflows, templates, and reference data.
  • Proven experience in system upgrades, testing, and UAT leadership.
  • Extensive experience of financial markets including financial instruments and commodities derivatives

Skills:

  • Must have good communication skills.
  • Work independently or in a team, to design, test, document programs of high complexity.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, Provide optimal business system solutions from both a business and an IT perspective.
