Managing Consultant | GB Partnerships Consult
Do you want to make a difference across healthcare, social care and the public sector, helping organisations transform their estates, services and spaces whilst delivering lasting organisational change?
Are you an experienced consultancy leader who can combine client delivery, commercial growth and people leadership, building trusted relationships, identifying opportunities and taking ownership for the growth of a region?
At GB Partnerships Consult, we're looking for a Managing Consultant to join the leadership team and play a key role in the next stage of the consultancy's growth.
What You'll Do
- Lead & Grow a Region: Take ownership of a regional consulting portfolio, leading and developing a talented team whilst building sustainable revenue and client relationships.
- Drive Commercial Growth: Identify opportunities, develop strategic accounts, lead and contribute to proposals and convert trusted client relationships into new and repeat work.
- Lead Client Transformation: Work with senior stakeholders across the NHS, local government and wider public sector to shape and deliver complex estates and transformation programmes.
- Shape the Consultancy: Work closely with the Managing Director and wider leadership team to influence propositions, growth priorities and the future direction of GB Partnerships Consult.
- Develop People: Provide leadership, coaching and support to consultants, creating an environment where talented people can develop and succeed.
Your Opportunity
GB Partnerships Consult works with clients from the earliest stages of change; helping them understand what their estate needs to look like, build the case for change and turn that strategy into deliverable programmes.
Our work spans strategic estates planning, stakeholder engagement, feasibility and option appraisal, asset mapping, locality planning, business cases, estate optimisation, space planning and utilisation through to project and programme delivery.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
