Role Description
The Managing Director will lead overall strategy, operations, and business growth for 7 Pounds Financial Services, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision and client-focused values. This contract role is based in the London Area, United Kingdom and follows a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site leadership with flexibility for some work from home.

- Overseeing client relationships

- Ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and high-quality service delivery
- Budgeting and financial oversight

- Representing the company in key external forums and partnerships
Qualifications
- Experience in senior leadership roles within financial services, consulting, or business support environments, with a strong track record of strategic planning and execution.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and performance management, including oversight of P&L and resource allocation.
- Background in operations management and process improvement, particularly in back-end support, helpdesk, or shared services functions.
- Strong client relationship management skills, with experience in business development, account growth, and stakeholder engagement at executive levels.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead diverse teams and drive cross-functional collaboration.
- Demonstrated ability to manage risk, ensure regulatory and policy compliance, and uphold high standards of integrity and governance.
- Experience with international business setup, expansion planning, or cross-border operations is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field; an advanced degree (e.g., MBA) or professional certification (e.g., CFA, ACCA) is an advantage.
- Comfort working in a hybrid environment, with the ability to balance on-site leadership in the London Area with remote collaboration.
