Role Description
The Managing Director is a full-time, hybrid role based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with flexibility for part-time work from home. This position is responsible for leading the strategic direction and overall performance of assigned business entities, including setting objectives, managing budgets, and overseeing key initiatives. The Managing Director will coordinate cross-border activities, ensure compliance with relevant regulations, and maintain strong governance standards. The role also involves:
- Representing Custodia Group in external meetings
- Cultivating new business opportunities
- Continuously improving processes to enhance efficiency and value creation
Qualifications
- Extensive leadership experience in banking, financial services, or family office environments, with a track record of managing complex organizations or business units.
- Strong capabilities in strategic planning, business development, and stakeholder management, including overseeing client, partner, and investor relationships.
- Advanced financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, performance analysis, investment evaluation, and risk management.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in international and cross-cultural settings, coordinating activities across multiple locations and entities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills, with the ability to influence outcomes and drive alignment at senior levels.
- Background in corporate governance and regulatory compliance, particularly within UK and international financial markets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; an advanced degree (e.g., MBA) or professional qualification (e.g., CFA, ACA) is highly beneficial.
- Comfort with hybrid working arrangements, self-directed work, and the use of digital tools to collaborate with global teams.
