Role Description
The Managing Director will provide strategic and operational leadership for REM Associates Ltd, ensuring the business delivers high-quality executive search and e-fulfilment growth services. This full-time, on-site role based in Reading involves setting the company vision, defining growth plans, and overseeing P&L performance. The Managing Director will lead and develop a multidisciplinary team, manage key client relationships, and drive new business development with blue-chip organisations, brands, and 3PL providers.

- Shaping service offerings
- Ensuring delivery excellence in executive search and consultancy projects
- Representing the company in senior-level client meetings and industry forums
- Monitoring market trends in logistics and supply chain
- Refining commercial strategy
- Ensuring strong governance, compliance, and ethical business practices
Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience at Director or Managing Director level, ideally within executive search, logistics, supply chain, or professional services.
- Strong strategic planning and commercial acumen, including experience with P&L management, budgeting, and sustainable revenue growth.
- Background in logistics, supply chain, or 3PL operations, with understanding of warehouse utilisation, capacity management, and e-fulfilment dynamics.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain senior client relationships and secure new business with blue-chip organisations and global brands.
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams, with a collaborative, inclusive, and outcome-focused leadership style.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with confidence in engaging C-suite and senior leaders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret market trends and translate them into actionable strategies.
- Relevant degree or equivalent professional experience in business, management, logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
- Comfort working on-site in Reading and being present with clients and team members as needed.
