The Opportunity
Orsett Hall is a part of the Hiddenwell Group Limited and is looking for an experienced and commercially driven Managing Director to lead the business.
This is a key leadership role with responsibility for the overall performance of the hotel, including rooms, spa and leisure, food and beverage, events and memberships.
Reporting to the CEO / COO, you’ll lead our teams, drive commercial performance and ensure we continue to deliver exceptional experiences for every guest.
What You’ll Do
- Leading the overall strategy and day-to-day performance of Orsett Hall
- Taking full ownership of P&L, budgets, forecasts and commercial results
- Driving revenue across rooms, spa, leisure, memberships, F&B and events
- Maximising occupancy, ADR, RevPAR and profitability
- Identifying new revenue streams, partnerships and growth opportunities
- Leading and developing a high-performing senior management team
- Creating a positive, accountable and engaging workplace culture
- Championing exceptional guest service across every area of the business
- Using guest feedback, market trends and KPIs to continually improve performance
- Maintaining excellent standards across the property
- Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety, Food Safety, licensing and other regulatory requirements
- Representing Orsett Hall and Hiddenwell Group Limited with guests, partners and the wider industry

About You
You’ll be an established hospitality leader who is as comfortable on the hotel floor as you are reviewing commercial performance.
You’ll Have
- Have senior leadership experience within hotels, resorts, luxury hospitality or leisure
- Exceptional commercial and P&L management experience
- Have a proven track record of growing revenue and profitability
- Have experience leading and developing large, diverse teams
- Have a passion for exceptional hospitality and guest experience
- Have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Have the ability to turn strategy into action and measurable results
- Have a visible, engaging and hands-on leadership style

Additional Information
- Full-Time position, 40 hours per week
- Working 5 out of 7 days per week, including evening, weekends and public holidays in line with business needs
- Salary: £110,000 per annum
