Chief Executive Officer / Managing Director
We are working on a confidential search for a PE-backed consumer services business entering an important phase of growth.
The business has an established brand, strong margins, a multi-site operating model, and significant existing capacity. The opportunity is not about rebuilding the company from scratch. It is about improving commercial execution, strengthening the team, and driving better performance across sales, marketing, and operations.
Although the title is CEO, this is very much a hands-on Managing Director role. The successful person will be visible in the business, close to the team, and comfortable getting involved in the detail when required.

- Leading the overall commercial, operational, and organisational performance of the business
- Driving revenue and EBITDA growth
- Improving lead generation, conversion, and customer acquisition
- Working closely with sales and marketing to strengthen the commercial funnel
- Assessing and developing the existing management team
- Building a motivated, accountable, and high-performing culture
- Improving utilisation across a multi-site operating model
- Working closely with the Board, founder, and private equity investor
- Preparing the business for a potential future transaction
We are particularly interested in commercially driven leaders who have already led an operation of around 20–30 people, with genuine responsibility across revenue, people, and operational performance.

The strongest candidates will have genuine P&L responsibility combined with strong sales and marketing instincts.
Experience in the specific sector is not essential. Relevant backgrounds could include consumer services, aesthetics, beauty, private-pay healthcare, dentistry, optical, wellness, or other high-value, lead-generation-led B2C businesses.
This role will particularly suit someone who is entrepreneurial, energetic, and people-focused; someone who enjoys being close to the business rather than operating from a distance.
