Managing Director - Consulting
Our exclusive client is a privately owned Professional Services group based in Manchester.
With an extensive household name client base including most major Public Bodies, our client has established itself as a market leader in its field.
We now wish to appoint a Managing Director to lead a key division within the business. Key responsibilities include:
- Full P&L ownership and accountability for business performance.
- Developing and delivering the company's growth strategy.
- Leading revenue generation through a consultative, client-focused approach.
- Building long-term relationships with clients across the public sector and related markets.
- Leading, motivating and developing a high-performing leadership team.
- Identifying new market opportunities and strategic partnerships.

Appropriate candidates should demonstrate:
- A proven track record of leading a consultancy or services business with full P&L responsibility.
- Strong commercial acumen with responsibility for revenue growth and business development.
- Experience selling complex, value-based services to senior decision-makers.
- An understanding of government and public sector procurement processes, frameworks, and buying cycles.
- A demonstrable track record of scaling businesses and delivering sustainable growth.
- The ability to inspire teams, build trusted client relationships, and create a high-performance culture.
