Managing Director – Financial Due Diligence (Transaction Advisory Services)
Location: London
We are partnering with a leading global financial advisory firm seeking to appoint a Managing Director to its growing Transaction Advisory Services practice in London. This is a senior leadership opportunity for an established transactions professional who combines exceptional technical and delivery credentials with a strong commercial mindset and trusted relationships across the private equity and corporate market.
The Role
The Managing Director will play a central role in developing the firm’s London practice, strengthening senior client relationships and leading complex, high-profile transactions.
Responsibilities
- Leading financial due diligence and broader transaction advisory engagements
- Acting as a trusted adviser to private equity firms, corporates, lenders and other stakeholders
- Developing senior relationships across the UK and European transactions market
- Identifying emerging transaction opportunities and positioning the firm early in the deal cycle
- Contributing to the continued growth, market profile and strategic direction of the practice
- Leading proposals, pitches and senior-level client discussions
- Managing multidisciplinary teams through complex and time-sensitive assignments
- Maintaining the highest standards of technical quality, commercial judgment and client service
- Mentoring and developing Directors and the wider team

Candidate Profile
The successful candidate is likely to offer:
- Significant senior-level experience within financial due diligence or transaction advisory services
- A strong track record of leading complex buy-side and sell-side engagements
- An established profile and trusted relationships within the private equity, corporate or wider deal community
- Evidence of developing client relationships and translating market activity into advisory opportunities
- Strong commercial instincts and the ability to identify opportunities before a formal process begins
- Excellent knowledge of quality of earnings, working capital, net debt and transaction-related accounting matters
- The credibility to advise investment committees, management teams and other senior stakeholders
- Experience leading, developing and retaining high-performing teams
- A recognised accounting qualification or equivalent professional background
